Xbox One X 1TB Console

The Xbox One X is set to be released on November 7, 2017 and that is just in time for Christmas. If you have a gamer in your life, whether they are young, old, male or female, then the Xbox One X might just be at the top of their list. Have you looked at what it has to offer yet?

There is a whole lot of power nesting behind the Xbox One X. To give you an idea, it’s going to have 6 teraflops of graphical horsepower …that’s pretty stunning, right? Looking at the preview games on this system, it looks like they’re going to be stunning and have a whole lot of detail thanks to the console’s HDR support.

Pros

  • 6 Teraflops
  • Some games are going to play at 60fps
  • A 4K Blu-ray player that is built-in
  • 4K HDR gaming

Cons

The one con we can find with the Xbox One X would be the fact that it’s going to be a bit on the expensive side. However, you have to think back to when the other consoles first came out – they had the same price tag. In this day and age, if you want something of this quality, you’re probably going to have to pay a bit of money for it.

To give you an idea of the price – when this console releases, it’s going to be $499, which is the price the Xbox One was when it first came out.

Powerful Console

This is going to be one of the most powerful consoles out there when this bad boy releases – this I something that Microsoft made clear during E3 2016 (yes, we have been waiting that long for this console).

Inside the Console

Looking at the specs inside the console, gamers are going to start drooling! The console has an octa-core CPU that is overclocked at 2.3GHz, a GPU that is gaming PC-worthy with a total of 40 compute units and 6 Teraflops and don’t forget about the 12GB of GDDR5 memory. With first party gaming titles, the console will be able to maintain 60 frames per second, which will definitely make for some pretty stunning gameplay.

When it comes to the specifications, the Xbox One X has everything a console gamer dreams of. Mind you, the Xbox One X will be a part of the “Xbox Family of Consoles.” This is a program that puts the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and the new Xbox One X into one unified platform.

Games

When it comes to the Xbox One X, you don’t have to worry about buying any other games as the ones you have for the original Xbox One will still work. That’s right, the Xbox One Family of Consoles is capable of playing all the same game, syncing up with the same accessories and using the same interface – you will even be able to access the same apps. This means no one is going to get left behind, which is good news.

Controller

When it comes to the controller, that’s pretty neat. It has an interested space gray type gamepad that looks similar to the one that comes with the Xbox One S. What’s interested is that Microsoft has stated it will support both keyboard and mouse controls. The Dreamcast had keyboard and mouse controls, which was really neat – this is a feature that gamers welcome due to the accurate and responsive controls.

Conclusion

The Xbox X would be a gamers dream Christmas present – just make sure they don’t already have it preordered before you get it for them …although, they probably wouldn’t mind having two of these consoles.
